when i first got my 2001 monte carlo ss everything works and is great but no sound from radio! radio works but no sound! well i got a new cd player and changed it out and still no sound so i re routed the wires from the amp and then there was sound. the amp was bad! my car had started throught out all of this but after i got done with the amp and got everything back to gether my car wouldnt start all the electronics work but none of my gages register and battery is new it just clicks once when i try to start it. whats wrong with my car?!!! security >?!!

 

undo everything you did. If it starts ur on the right track

 

sounds like your battery needs charged.

the radio doesnt take much for it to turn on, but if your gauges dont work and it only cranks once, its starving for amps.

 

just about to say what he said^^^^
even a new battery can die if you over use it without car running..

 

bypassing the stock amp is not an fun task... if its not your battery im with gdixonjr
