Yup, and at those prices you could get one that has a built in sound processor like the Alpine 9887 or Pioneer P880PRS

I have two 15in JLs atm, and two 12in Duels from walmart, and im pretty sure the Duels are amazingly cheap, and mine hit hard for being walmart subs, there not mind blowing or anything, but for what it seems your looking for, it would be fine, plus you can still listen to rock on them and it still sound good.

Also have a buddy, drives an S-10 Blazer, he has 2x 12in Duels from walmart, and 2x Duel Amps, the ones that corraspond to the subs, which is ALWAYS the best way to go for the best sound and bass. And they honestly sound amazing, and thats in an open environment, as in blazers dont have trunks.

If you dont take my advice, find the subs you want on any site, and always use the recommended amp, almost ALL cases, you want to because of the reason the amps are setup to do exactly what the subs need, Peak Power, Max Watt, And RMS Power, Input Impedance, Sound Sensitivity

Wow, never heard someone recommend Dual brand subs before. I guess there's a first for everything. That being said, I'd gladly fork over $50 to Parts Express for a Lanzar Max series 12" sub before I ever pay a cent for a Dual product.
