looking to upgrade my stereo head unit and do not want to spend $100+ for a harness adapter to install the stereo.

i do have the factory amp and onstar, however, neither will be used and i do not care if the chimes and stuff work afterwards. I just want the basic harness. which should be like $10 at most.

i have read the forums and search for information, however, i am unable to locate the part. i have gone to multiple walmarts searching for the cheap option, however, many of the walmarts have "downsized" their car audio section in my area.

so i am basically looking online, however, scoches, metra, axxess sites do not list the option i am looking for and has been recommended here.

unfortunelu i looked everywhere and the harness we need is around 100 bucks, i checked crutchfield.com and the one they gave me was 100 bucks. if you find something cheaper let me know im looking as well

 

They are out there I just got mine changed it was like 20 bucks.
I think they used the basic/ standard GM one.But not sure.
