been searching for the part number so i can buy one, but unable to confirm what one is needed for a 2002 Monte SS. i dont see where zzp has the walbro listed on their site. looking for direct replacement, which i think is "non venturi" setup. if i need to update to a venturi setup, i guess i can get a new housing from the junk yard, but would prefer not if i didnt need to.


if worse comes to worse, i will get the AEM one. i know the stock pump is failing, but even if it were not, i would want to upgrade just to be sure since am ordering a ton of new parts the next month. i will be switching from the gen3 blower to the gen5, new injectors, new fuel pump, headers, and a new tune. i just ordered the suspension, lowering springs, and some replacement bushings.

i think a lot of the issues i was having with the gen 3 top swap was that something was up with the heads or blower i put on. i will be replacing the heads with ones that i am going to rebuild with new valves and springs and rockers. along with that, i am not sure the fuel pump is in great shape as i was constantly battling fuel issues and getting o2's and trims to be consistent.

the monte has been parked since december awaiting the new parts and i am starting to order.

though, they do have them listed for an Impala, but standard oem replacement, not a 255 lph, and the kit contains the canister, which of course i dont need.
