hi im new here... so hi ! :P little presentation : im a teenager of 17 years old i really love mecanic... i posse a monte carlo 2000 ls. imfrom Québec city...

so why i post there is because i have a sub kit and i want to put it on my Monte, but i want to know if i can put it without changing my radio? i have one that can handle all of my subs-speakers-twitters but i don't want to change the radio due to esthetic complication and other ones... the radio is the stock one.


if some one can help me with this it would be appreciated.

 

Yes it can be done. You need some line out converters to tap into your stock speaker wires to get a signal for your amp.

 

cant really help you with the wiring but the random blue light i believe is called a daylight.

 

Yes, it is doable- also look at the amp you buy- you may not need a line out converter- some have a "high level input" harness.

Putting subs in a car with a stock radio is pretty common- and the more integrated the factory radios get with the dash and electronics, the more common I think it will get. There are now some very high quality line output converters available for this purpose.

 

ok thanks... but now i wonder know something else... do a monte come with bass speaker? why? the mouse had pass trought my subs in 3 day.... f*****g mouse... get trought the box and the subs... so no more subs...
