replacing a dead amp in my 01 monte carlo with an factory bose amp from 03 grand prix. my first mistake was i cross the wrong wire and tried to play it no sound. corrected that but i kill something, loud static sound from speaker, no door chime, radio stays on with the car off. put back in the original amp and same thing.

 

problem solved both amp were bad, bought a new one work great
