Well are'nt you the dilligent hard worker. You just kept your head down and pushed through with this whole project. I can see why you did this now that I see pictures of the original seats, the leather upgrade really adds a VERY nice touch to your car's interior. Did not even know this thread was going, Space cadet me. Have to say what you went through was a test of patience and internal fortitude, You passed with flying colors. Nice to see my old leather seats are back in action in a sweet Monte. Had some guy wanting them from me for some other car, but not a Monte, now I'm glad I never sold them to him as they deserved to live in only a Monte. Sometimes I do miss them, the Sparco's are not even colse in the comfort level. I did gain about 5 inches of head room with the racing seats, guess everything has it's price.

They look AWESOME Mike!! So happy for you, what a great effort you put out and it paid off in spades..... Someone is going to be rolling in style, hell electric seats, front back up and down. And a heated tush on the cold days... Heh heh heh. Winning!!!!!!

Least we all had an opportunity to learn about the differences concerning seats with our different year Monte's. Nice thread........

1. All Monte's apparently come pre-wired for electric & heated seats and seat controls, even if you don't have factory heated seats.

2. The manual and power seats have different bases.

3. The rear seats from the 00 and (01?) are 2 piece, while the newer ones are 3 piece.

4. To mount the rear seats from the 02-05 into the 00 (01?) there are minor modifications required to the seat anchor points.

That looks good! If I look at the pics right, you had a pewter/grey interior and put a set of light tan seats in? I think it blends nicely!! And that is awesome all the wiring was in place to make them fully functional!!
