You're swaying my opinion on aftermarket head units. Usually hate them but your equipment looks fantastic. Bet it sounds that way also. Nice

That battery is a beast! I also like the headunit and im sure those speakers are nice. IMO the amp and sub stage is lacking next to the rest of the system. What are your wiring specs as far battery and amp wire? With that monster of a battery you could power a nice big amp with it and get a real subwoofer to go along with it. How much did the battery run you if you dont mind?

Yes the looms are my personal favorite, as a geek squad installer any exposed wires were loomed to look more clean and I did keep my steering wheel controls (hardwired the deck using a metra 2003 harness so I dont have chimes but saved a bit of $ and used Metras ASWC for the controls). These audiopipe amps are extremely underrated they really scream and once I get my box built for my Type R I will finally be happy. The Kinetic I picked up for $75 and the XS is my buddies that I just had to give back to him for his SPL build in his jeep. I think am going to just re-do my 4ga big three into 0 ga and if that doesnt take care of dimming put on a h.o. alt. Thanks for all the input everyone!

Good choice going with the Type-R, I have one myself. How noticeable is the addition of the Dynamat and what happened to the clear plastic moisture barrier that lays over the inside of the door frame?

Yessir, its the same plug and all I did was run accy from my WIPER fuse on the left side. Hardwired the ASWC and was golden!

The moisture barriers were gonezo and the dynmat helped the speakers a ton, going to do a layer on the inside of the door panels soon.
