My interior needs updating
I recently had my door panels off and in the process I chipped up the paint on my wood trim that I had painted silver. I don't think I used an adhesion promoter, so I'm not surprised. Right now I have several trim pieces and dash pieces in my car painted silver. I really like the dash parts that are silver because I think they go good with the blueish black dash. However I think the silver goes horribly with the rest of the car. I have a tan leather interior with tan carpet and moldings. I quick covered one of the trim pieces in black to see how I liked that compared to the silver. I don't think it's any better. I've posted a few pics of what it's like now. I'm open to any suggestion on making my interior look better whether its keeping the silver, a new color, wrapping things in vinyl or suede...whatever. What do you think?

The silver looks great on the dash -- especially around the gauges. It really makes the black on the gauges pop. But I don't know if it would look good having all the tan painted silver. That may be a bit too much. Possibly paint the tan stuff black.

I agree with the dash comment. I wasn't hinting at painting the tan silver, I don't think that would look good. I wouldn't be opposed to black though. There's a lot of tan though. As long as I could get the paint to stick to the plastic I could go for it all black.
