Default MP3 player addition

Hello to all, I have just purchased a 1996 Monte Carlo LS and I have noticed that there is an aux button on the factory stereo. My question is can I add RCA jacks to the stereo and then plug the 3.5 mm jack into my mp3 player?

The auxillary button is inteded for the trunk mounted 6 or 10 disc CDchanger if your vehicle is so equipped (monte carlos in our gen. were not, maily Buicks and Cadillacs). However, I am not sureif you can put RCA's in the back of the stock radio. If you find out, let us know I'm sure there are others who would love to know too!Good Luck!
