Your amp is rated stable at 1 ohm, so running it at 1 ohm won't hurt it at all. It's power will just be the same as at 2 ohms for this amp though. Also, three 4 ohm subs wired in parallel will give you 1.3 ohms, just fyi.

Yeah, your amp is 1 ohm stable so it shouldn't be a problem at all, it will do over 900 watts rms @ 1 ohm, although they don't say exactly how much over. But the box you'd need to build will be a little bigger than I thought....if you're gonna keep it sealed you'd need a box with 3.75 cu. ft. internal volume after displacement. That's a pretty nice size box for our Monte's...my current box is 4 cubes, i'm trying to get some subs that will allow me to have a smaller box but it's not looking like i'm going to achieve that goal since I'll be picking up some DD 2512's here pretty soon.

I went to Kenwood's website to find the 1 ohm rating for his amp earlier, and it's apparently regulated to 900 watts rms at 1 ohm, so no power is gained with the lower impedance.

I'm not too sure where you're getting your info from but everything I've seen says the amp puts out over 900 watts when run at 1 ohm, the specs listed on the Kenwood page for this amp says so as well as the owners manual.

Good call, I looked at the 9104 specs lol. Interesting though that they don't list a rating. Seems like an important spec to list...

Yeah, I wonder why they're being so vague about it. Kinda funny they'd choose to handle it that way cause they list a peak wattage as 1800 watts, although i'm sure that's at 16v, maxed out for .5841279643521478 seconds.
