Maing my own sub box

Well if you make another wooden one it probably wont end up being much differnt unless u took the 2 outside ones and faced them towards the center of somethin at an angle.
If you can make a fiberglass box go for it i think those are some of the coolest looking boxes sometimes cause you can do so much.

If that box is so deep that it goes all the way to the back of the trunk, that seems like a lot of airspace for three 10s. Does the box fit between the strut towers? If not, it looks like you could make it a little more narrow so it would fit between them.
I'd say measure to see how tall and wide it can be while being pushed all the way back, and then calculate the depth you need for the proper airspace, which looks to be around .75 cu ft per sub. It's hard to do much else with an MDF box.

Yeah, I don't think the U shaped design would work out too well, for the exact reason dbl stated. That box looks massive for 10's, I think you could make a much smaller box and throw up a beauty board aka false wall so it looks like the subs are flush mounted into the wall. Something like this
The most important thing though is to find out how much space your subs need, I'd guess between .5-1.0 cu.ft each in a sealed enclosure. How much power can they handle and how much are you giving them, that should factor into the size box you build too.
