low volume on radio

Default low volume on radio

just recently my radio got to the point that I have to turn the volume almost all the way up to listen to it. any idea what may be the problem? its a 2004 monte carlo ss

More info required...is it stock radio? Aftermarket, Got any subs? Any electrical problems you noticed?

Without more info on your system, aftermarket Or Factory, I would say you have a bad amp!

no electrical problems and no subs.. stock radio from factory

Then its time you added some. Your factory amp is going out. its not producing what it should be putting out. Just get a aftermarket amp and youll be set.

What if you have the factory radio and amp and replaced the factory amp and fuses?.

having the same issue here with my recent acquisition. Started looking into replacing the amp.
