a little trouble

Default a little trouble

hi guys, im new here. i have a 2005 monte carlo ls and just the other day my driver climate control light went out. called the dealership and they told 400 bucks to fix it because i have to replace the climate controls. can i just change a bulb and they are justtrying toget my money or is this legit?

My only guess is that the lights are soldered on to the pc board.

Hi Heavy Chevy,
Did you ask the dealership why they had to replace the
climate control to get the light to work ?
I would ask them what the repair consist of ?
If you have your owners book for your Monte, check
under fuses and relays.
There are fuses/relays in the engine bay area.
Your book should have a diagram of what fuses apply to
what components/regulators.
If you can not find answer, then

wtf...400$ i am missing something right?i know a guy on another forum that does that for like 30 bones or something like that.or b go to a junk yard and find a new cc
