Thats one hell of an ordeal to come up with that let alone all the effort it took you to get it this far...! Impressive!
Talk about a wireing nightmare...I wouldnt even attempt something like that. (Electricals not my strong suit)

Im curious...
Howd you get the cases to split apart from the lens without bustn them up?
I used a soldering iron with a small tip to melt my way in. Kinda sloppy, but works good

Not really, the LED isn't even close to the look of the incandescent on the stratus.

I keep looking at these things lol. I was wondering, where do you get the breadboard at? Also, are those superflux led's I'm assuming?

I got the board from Ebay. I can get you a link if you like. I got 10 pieces for like $4.

Yes, the LEDs are superflux HPWT-DH00 red-orange.

USPS tracking says my last parts (vregs) we be delivered today Expect to see some finished pictures sometime this weekend!

What makes this is funnier is there is a Stratus in the next Port.

Very well done.

This isn't the seller I used, but I know many use this seller for their red-orange superflux LEDs : 60 Genuine Agilent Red Orange LEDs

Update:

I got my parts to finish the blinker circuit. I also added some heat sinks on the voltage regulators. Here it is before I sealed the box back up.

I wired the boxes up in the car and it works great Two bottom strips for running lights, and the upper section for brake/blinker. Pics and a video of them working soon

Thank you!

I tried to take some video today.. what a fail. Since the lights run on a PWM, they are essentially flashing really fast, but so fast you can't tell with your eye. However, it's terribly obvious on camera. Since the frame rate of my camera is slow, the lights appear to be strobes I'll have to try and find someone else's camera to take video and pictures on.

Lots of tedious work but definitely worth the time. That looks really nice Justin.
