Hey all. I had some leftover parts from when I made my LED taillights so I'm making a 3rd Brake Light that will go in my brickyard spoiler. I'm using the same method as I did with the taillights. So far I've cut open open the housing and started making the LED boards. I've got 25 in there right now, and I should get them soldered up tomorrow. I've purposely left a space in between each red led where I plan on putting white LEDS for my reverse light. It's kinda going to be a dual function light with brake and reverse


I'll get these working by tomorrow and then figure out what white leds to order along with resistors. More pics soon!

Yes, but it does not match the tails.


I don't have any other reverse lights on the car. The reverse lights will be obviously wired separately of the brake lights. 20-some leds should make for a pretty bright reverse light.

 

I got all the red leds wired up. I'm thinking I'm going to skip the reverse leds for now. I want to seal this thing thing back up. I'll have to come up with something else for a reverse light.
