ive never used kenwood b4 and am looking for some advice. i just got my income tax and want/need a new head unit. im looking at the kenwood dnx6960. heres some specs
http://kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainm...gation/DNX6960

pros

it has 3 pairs of 5 volt pre-outs- which is nice
qvga tft active matrix display
garmin navigation- which i prefer
volume ***
color matching lights
2010

cons

not a 7 incher, only 6.1
only 3 band parametric EQ

tell me what you think, your opinion matters. lol

thanks, im not so much into it for looks i like a pioneer model apperance wize i lot more. that same pioneer has a 30 to 45 sec start time which i think could get annoying.

im more into SQ, expandability, and screen res.

For aftermarket decks, I too prefer the look of Pioneer over all other brands. I personally haven't even considered an aftermarket deck though because I don't want to lose functionality of my steering wheel controls, and I'm not paying extra to keep it.

If I could find the GM navi system for extremely cheap, I'd go that route.

i like pioneer to but they come with cons.

way slower start up, only 2 volt pre-outs, non-garmin navi, zero units with 13 band eq.

steering wheel control pac interfaces are always on ebay and even new they're like 40-75$ lol you also think that halos are "unnecessary". ya if my car payment was as much as yours id probly say the same thing.

just got a led third brake light to have um all match, that was probly "unnecesary" too.
