The gauge cluster was changed a few weeks ago using the USSpeedo led conversion kit, which cost something like $80-$90 and came with obnoxiously cheap and dim LEDS and the wrong instructions. I purchased 100 620 ohm 1/4W resistors, and 50 5mm Laserlike red LEDS, along with a kit which included a soldering iron, magnifying stand, solder, and wire. With shipping it all came out to $38.20 and I still have plenty of extras after ruining a dozen LEDS. I got it all from Electronic Goldmine - Electronic Components, Parts, Test Equipment, Kits, Goldmine.

The lights in the door panel are just as bright as the steering wheel buttons, my phone just takes crappy pics. Pretty soon here ill be replacing the LEDS in my gauge cluster with these better ones, I'm toying with the idea of replacing all of my interior lights as well.

If anyone wants to try this I'd be willing to pull out the switches and what not and take some pics so you wont have to use trial and error to find the polarity. Only thing I can't help with is the AC controls, they're still a work in progress.

@Overdose666 can you post a how-to on how to change the lights in the dash and switches to leds. I have been wanting to do this for the longest. I already have leds. What resistors will i need? I have some 470 ohm is that good??

Next weekend I'll have some time to pull my cluster and upgrade to better LEDs, when I do I'll take some pics and do a basic write up.

That's too dim on the entrance board ones in that second picture? Also did you do your evaluate group or just the leader and the entrance board and internal lighting change perspective factor . . . . .
