I have a '85 Monte Carlo CL and I was wondering how hard it would be to convert the tail lights to LED, like the new Cadillacs, I thought it might look cool. Anyone ever try or have any experience in this?

 

Can't say I've seen it done but I do love the Caddy tails. I would assume that you've got some custom fabrication to be done. Makes me think of some slammed S-10s and how they often have custom tails. Maybe a slammed forum would have some info?

 

Well, I have an extra set of tail lights. I'm gonna see if I can pop off the red plastic cover and see if I can solder in some Leds and if it works I'll see if my uncle can custom fabricate transparent covers at his body shop.
