Default Interior L.E.D

Im looking into hooking up some L.E.Ds on the inside of my car. I found a really great sight and very cheap for L.E.Ds but i will post the sight here in a few. Basically what i want to know is how in the H*** do you hook em up. They say you connect them to a 12v. power supply. Basically the leds have to wires connected to them, ones ground and etc. What would i hook them up to? any1 have a clue

http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips

Trust me, take a look at the sight, they have some really good deals!!!

Well taking a power source and a ground from the fuse box would work. Depends on where you're putting the LED's, and how you want to be able to control them. Just be sure to put a low number fuse right after you tap them in. That way if you happen to make a mistake in wiring the LED's dont blow, and the wire doesn't overheat.

first of all what are ya tryign to hook up with LEDS?
i think i can help with this to a point i have hooked just a few up in my car LOL http://www.cardomain.com/ride/468771/3

if ya look on that page you should find some shots of mine with the dsash lit up and the ehad lights lit up.
Now the head lights ahve changed and i really need to update the pages there LOL
But i have also lit up the door handels at night so they coem on with the curtisy lights in the car and also the out side door handels are lit also.
I did the actual door pannel lights in the rear of the pannel but i will need to get some that are briter then wha ti have now. the ones i used are not powerful enough to light it up good enough to see in dusk time frame witch is when i wanted ti to light it up the most.
But let me know what your trying to do and i will help ya out.

To answer what your talking about here. it is not to hard they have a + and a - side. they only flow power in one direction. and for the most part they have the long stem is the + side and the other in the - side.
you will need to have a resitor in line with the power side if they are not resited already. if they say you can hook them directly in to 12volt they mostlikely already have aresitor in them and can have straight 12volt put to them with no fear of blowing them

If they are not resited then you will need to put oine in line of each string that you add power to. Also . it is knowen tha they use so much power perd LED and if you have a string of so many that they will not need a resitor in line with them as they will asorb all the power to light the whole string up. Personally i have a resitor in the whole line up in my car they are cheap and you wont noptice to big of a diffrence acrossed the string.

But you can add them in to almost any circut on your car rather easily.
the dash and sterring wheel lights are a all day job on the best of days to disassembel and add the LEDS and then to reassembel the parts and put the car back togeather. I did mone over the weekend and it took me till Tuesday to get the whole thing done and back togeather and everything workign correctly. But this was the first t5ime doign it in my car and also some trial and erro on my part.
This phot shows the factory stereo that is actually done also but it will void any warrently you have on switches, dash parts, etc... So keep this in mind if you chose to do something that is under warrently

well if you look on that website there just strips you can put just about ANYWHERE, but what i plan on doing is just basically putting them under the dash seat etc. in hidden places just to light up the car at night. Where would i hook them up to? Im not to find with wiring and all that?

if you have the heated seats and hook in to it you might have to do some trial and error to find a fuse that will not blow with bopth on at the same time but is still low enough to blow to protect your car.

I dont have the heated seats in my car from the Factory. i have a after market version for mine wiht message in them and that is where i pulled power from the car to power them up.

So i know there is a power lead there and it is key activated if i rember correctly.
