Default Installing LEd undercarrage lights - fire wall wiring

I have a 2006 Monte SS and am installing LED under carrage glowlights.I have to run wires from the engine bay through the firewall to inside the cockpit for the controll unit.

I am gathering that the best path for the wires is through the rubber block on the passengerside floor pan. Is this the best path?

thanks for your help.

Yes that's the best path unless you're looking to drill into it.

Here's a video that I made showing where the wires will go through and come out of.

YouTube - How To Run Sub Wires in 00-05 Monte Carlo-red04montels

I have to remake it I think, the video is tiny, got a new phone (which i record on) and forgot to turn the HD on.

no problem, let me know if you need anything else or any more help with it, the hardest part should be getting the wires through that grommet, from there it's just mounting.

good luck!

For my LED underglow we made a small whole just for the wire to go though in the trunk at the fender well since its only like 16awg wire its no big deal. But my underglow turns on by remote sensor which we placed in the trunk.

also, on the passenger side in the trunk theres a vent that just keeps cabin pressure good and stuff you could run a wire through that if you had to

lol it works good for smaller wires and decently for big wires, just don't seal it off, if you block it off you will notice the pressure different in the cabin, so let the little fan things stay free so they can move when needed.

Jaws when you put your control unit for your lights in the trunk whre did you tap into for
un-switched power? I would like a source that is on even when the ignition is off and just turn the light off and on by the remote
