Hey all. I bought a alpine head unit online and the site I bought it from sends free installation accessories with the cd player. I got the dash install kit with it, and the antenna adapter, but I didn't recieve a wiring harness...so I decided to try to find a stock wiring diagram for my 02 so I can just cut into the wires and call it good....however, I have hooked up the power and ground and the cd player will NOT turn on. So if someone could find me a wiring diagram, that would be awesome...thanks

 

that was a big mistake, on these new cars if u dont do it just right you're gonna mess something up. it is a very good idea that you just go ahead and buy a harness from walmart or somewhere and do it that way.

just trying to stop you before you screw your wiring system up and have to pay someone a ridiculous amount of money to fix your screw up.

for the igniton you will have to go to ignition wires , the wire will be a thick pink wire coming out of the key cylinder harness, make sure you run a in line fuse along with it a 10 amp will be fine.

 

so when you say ignition, you mean the switched 12v source? correct?
