you wish for a 7" screen for what? just a screen for a dvd unit a gaming console, what do you have in the car?

for a full sceen or even any after market deck you'll need a chime box, and all steering wheel controls can be retained with any deck with another modual that runs about 45-65$ the chime box runs from about 50-100$ depending if you have onstar, it sounds like you do, so you will need the 100$ chime box.

if you wish to have more help, please provide more info, i have no idea what you mean by 7" screen, if you wish to have a screen output, you need a deck that has an output, genraly they them selves are full screen, but they do make single dins with video outs i believe. you'll need to do some leg work and research.

some places to start

cruchfield.com

Agreed, more information is needed to completely help you.

When putting a new stereo deck in you will need one main wiring harness and the antenna adapter, other than that you won't need much unless you're keeping the steering wheel buttons.

Also, you must know that in order to make some headunits fit, some cutting does need to be done to a plastic brace that is behind the stock headunit, this can usually be done with a dremmel tool and isn't too difficult

Yes you will need a GMOS4 or the PAC harness to keep all your steering wheel controls if you will be installing an aftermarket audio system with a 7" dvd player. Post a few pics when your done. What type of head unit you considering??
