How do you remove the bottom panel of the dashboard?
I'm having a hard time trying to take off the bottom panel that has cover's the lower half of the steering column and has the trunk release button. So I can remove my dashboard. I removed the screws and tried pulling it and it will not pop off. I don't want to force anything and break it. I was told it simply "pops off" but it doesn't seem like it does. How do you exactly take it off?

Without looking it over again, i don't recall where all the screws are for it (or how many there are). I will say this, the clips that hold it on hold TIGHT to the car. When you pull on it to pop it out, pull it straight back (don't pull at an angle).
That's the best I can tell you unfortunately.

Not sure you can get the main dash piece out with the shift in park. I never have at least. To make room, if you can't mover the shifter, you may gain some space by taking the shift **** off. Just a thought.
