Unhappy hedliner removal 2004 SS

Hi guys,

I want to remove headliner from a donor car but I want to keep it in usable condition.

What I did so far is to remove everything that hold it in place and headliner dropped down, attached only to the wire harnesses.

My main question: Are there connectors along these cables in order to detach them?

Two wire harnesses go to the back of the car and under the back seats. Unfortunately, since the headliner is down, I cannot access back seats in order to remove them...

Thanks for your help,
Ivo

There are a couple small connectors and as you mentioned, a big one in the back (it sits under the rear deck, next to the speakers). I don't know any way to safely access that one without removing the rear seat. Perhaps you can temporarily put the headliner back up and then take the rear seat out.

Hi The_Maniac,
Thanks for the info. I will go this way, I am parting out the whole car, so, I will remove the seats as well. Unfortunately, here (I am in Bulgaria) is raining last weeks. I will get back with update.
Best regards,
Ivo
