Hey there. I am installing a Dual headunit and I know that to keep onstar, I had to purchase a product like this... Amazon.com: Axxess GMOS-01 02-Up Onstar Harness Adapter with Chime: Car Electronics and so I bought that. However, I'm not installing any subs or amps right now. I'm looking for a little advice on how to install it into my 01 SS, and what to do with the wires that are supposed to run to an amp... Do I just tape them off? I don't really know. Thanks!

 

yeah you can just tape off the remote wire(amp wire) and then when you go to put your amp in just pull the head unit back out and wire it then.
