Nice Job!!! Ive always wanted to do this. How much of a hassle was this? Also how much did you have to pay for materials? Did you do it or someone else?
Just kind of curious and kind of interested in how much time it took and everything else! Thumbs up to you though!!

I had someone else do the upholstery work. I removed, painted, and installed everything myself. Cost me $170 to get the headliner and visors redone. It took about 3 hours total to remove and install it. Painting and upholstery time not included.

I can definitely see the pattern in it as a opposed to before. It's box style.

Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate it.

Wonder why I didn't see this thread before. It looks very good, to match the seats. Nice job!

Even though you did the "grunt" work (removing and re-installing the liner), that seems like a very fair price to have a shop do the upholstery work.

I like the two-tone pewter/black look (but that's what I've been working towards, a 2-tone pewter and black interior, like the '03 Pace Car had). Admittedly, I am surprised that GM used a pewter headiner in a black interior car. I'm sure there was a reason though (does not mean we all agree on it lol).

The interior changes look good, black and red.

03 and 02 pace cars had solid black interiors like all other leather SS cars

That's not entirely correct. The '03 Monte Pace Car (blue and silver model) had some two-tone. I know it had the two-tone steering wheel and the pewter shift **** (which I would prefer a black leather shifter to the pewter one). The differences may be the seats, door and quarter trims. It's been so long since I was shopping for a Monte, I'm not 100% sure on what pieces it had (I thought the '03 Pace Car also had the 2-tone interior door panels).

I believe the '02 Pace Car was the only year that did not get ANY special interior coloring (just a dash badge). But don't quote me on that one.
