I have an aftermarket radio in my 2000 Monte Carlo SS. I have a Alpine 9856 head unit and I wanted to know if anybody knows what do I need to do get HD radio stations? The head unit is HD ready.

i don't think you have to actually do anything but tune to the station... you can look up what stations broadcast in hd in your area with the link above.

thanks!!! same to you. i need to get my windows tinted like that. i almost got them done right when i got the car but it's illegal in this state so i'm iffy on it. although the cops around here only bust ***** with the drug dealers and my mc is definitely not a drug dealer car! i might get it done in the spring.

 

you get your windows tinted with a monte c, they will start pulling you over

 

I had 5% done for a while, no problems with the 5-0.


I have 35% on now and I still have no problems... 5% just too dark at night with me living in small towns.

 

I did a little looking into and it seems that you will need a TUA-T500HD.

But it seems as thou the TUA-T500HD is discontinued, so you might have to look on Ebay to see if anyone has one.
