Factory Delco HU

Factory Delco HU
I am looking for a Delco/Delphi HU with XM capabilities so I can install a Scosche Blue Fusion in my 2000 Monte SS.
Anybody know the Delco part number for the HU that can be used?
I have tried one out of a 2004 Impala (10335223 with a Band switch) with a date code of 11/15/04 which doesn't show XM when hooked up.
I have a friend at a Dealership that will code it to my BCM when I find the right one.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I should clarify that I have not tried the Blue Fusion (BFCL2K) with this radio yet, as this was more of a pre-sales question.
Reading the instructions for the Blue Fusion it states "Your BlueFusion functions as an XM source through your Factory Stereo." So I thought if you don't have the XM Band on the radio it won't work. Well according to Scosche tech support, not true, he said you just keep pressing the "Band" button until it connects to the Blue Fusion. So I guess I will order one and try it out. They tell me it won't work with the factory Delco/Delphi 2000 Monte Carlo radio but will work with the 2004 Impala radio. Not sure why the difference, because it seems the radios are identical but will give it a try.
Thanks BBEngineer for your response.

I thought you tried it and it didn't work
Their support is correct. With an XM module connected, pressing the band button cycles thru AM FM XM (or the BT module In this case)
The 2000-2002 has an AM/FM button, while the 2003+ supliers XM via the band button

Update.
I have installed the Blue Fusion BFCL2K and some functions work and others do not.
One that doesn't work is Blue Fusion interrupting the AM/FM radio station when a call comes in. The only way the call comes in thru the radio is when the Blue Fusion menu is displayed on the radio. I have rebooted the unit according to the Scosche Manual, and have tried a new wiring harness, all with no success.
Taking to Scosche, they think I might need a new unit.
My concern is if there is communication with the BCM, it's going to say it's a 2000 and not 2003, the first year for a Satellite Radio. Any idea if there would be communication with the BCM and what that might be?
Thanks in advance.
