Sorry if this has been posted before, but I've been searching for a while and I cannot find a solution. A just installed a new sound system, and a new deck. Everything works fine, but when I turn it up loud, all the factory speakers cut out. My subs and the tweeters that I added keep playing, making me think that the amp is either overheating or going into protect mode or something. Has anyone else had this problem; if so, I'm open to any suggestions. Ive been thinking about just bypassing the stock amp and seeing if that makes a difference, but I'm not sure how to do that either.

im not an audio expert, but sounds like u need a bypass harness.around a $100 for it.

 

Check your connections, one of the wires might not be fully connected.

 

Thats for the suggestions. I checked my connections and everything is secure. I thought the vibrations from my subs might be causing the amp to shut off, but thats not the case, since i can have then all the way down and the amp still cuts out when i crank the rest of my system. Can anyone point me in the direction of an amp bypass harness, or a tutorial of how to bypass the amp yourself?

 

Ok, so I went ahead and did the amp bypass, and just spliced all the inputs and outputs on the factory amp to each other. All my speakers work now, sound exactly the same as before, ect. But now when I turn my system up, it cuts out completely. I still get subs, but my aftermarket tweeters cut out as well as my speakers. Also, now all of my speakers will stay off until I either shut the deck off and turn it back on, or until I go in and turn the HU internal amplifier off and on. ( my HU is a JVC avx-810) Im going to remove the HU tomorrow and check the wiring, ground, ect. and see if i get any improvement. If anyone else has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
