It really depends on what you want.I had a 92' escort hatchback that had
4 12"s in a isobaric band pass box that a local shop built for me.I was
big but I had enough room to put about 4 bags of groceries in the
back(that's back when they had paper bags). It was loud and would go
very low. I had 1 Lanzar optidrive 100 and 2 Lanzar Optidrive 50s. the
100 was for the subs and the 50s were for front and rear.
I use to have a PC program that would give you the dim's if you had all
of the specs on the subs. You could adjust the frequency and it would
calculate the cubic feet.

with a port that large you run the risk of bafel vibrations, what is it tuned to? where did you get the numbers.

A pretty large one if you don't mind building it inside the trunk. But if you need it to be removeable your best bet would be to do like was said earlier and bust out a measuring tape, get creative if you have to.

What subs are you using? What are the specs? Do you want good bass or do you want to rattle the neighborhood?

My next box I'm going to get a pair of Kicker solo-baric's.

A single Fi Btl 18 Single Slug version, clear bass i can solve the trunk lid rattle. I had sub up and port thru rear deck on my 95 Olds Aurora before I got this Monte. But if you have any suggestions on the way to go about doing the enclosure i'm all ears. Thanks for taking the time guys to help me, I appreciate it greatly.

A lot of people my disagree but If you plan on running a 18" sub your trying to do too much. The last system I had use to move my windshield wipers, back window and windshield. If I had it turned up and you opened one of the door it would set car alarms off from 3 spaces away.

I never got good pictures of it because it was before good digital cameras.

Some of the best systems I've seen and heard have a pair of well powered subs.

I'll try to dig out the program and see if I can find old pictures.
