Hey guys, this isn't about my monte its actually about my girlfriends car. its an 07 saab 9-3 with a general car problem that seems like would happen with any car. After turning car off, removing key and opening door the radio, door chime will not turn off, and the keyless remote and door locks will not work either. I was doing some research and it seems like it might be the door jam module isn't disengaging when door opens to shut off power. has anyone ran into this problem and if so what was the solution? thanks guys!

 

yes i have the issue with an 02 monte.. had to make a dummy key to insert when car is parked to prevent the battery from dying by morning... i am having a friend who created this log in to help me resolve all issue with this car in order to sell it .. she is just now finding time to help and asked that i search the boards for some ideas and answers as to how to resolve the problems with my car which are too many.. to list.. LOL
