Default Dome light problem

I replaced my Dome light with a red LED dome light before I garaged my monte for the winter. For some reason now it won't turn off. When I turn off the car and the other lights go off, the dome light stays on but it is very faint, sometimes flashing slightly. It seems like a little bit of power is still going to it.
I am afraid it is going to burn out my LED much quicker than it should be, and that it could be a sign of a deeper problem. Could it just be a fuse or something simple?

Common for an LED to draw a tiny tiny bit of power when off. Don't worry about it

i think its because theres a small current running through and the led's take so little power to run they stay on. it wont hurt the battery or anything because it's normal, mine does the same thing.

YES x a million. The LED's take such am extremely small amount of electrical current that the smallest amount will keep them on. Its just like all mine, floor, dome, and mirrors, they all stay on very low.
