Default Disabling the door chime?

Hey all, I just recently bought a 2006 and I absolutely love it! My one main question is, how in the world do I disable the door chime? It sounds off when my door is open even without the keys in the ignition. It drives me crazy getting my kids in the car...I searched, but all I got was old info.

and 06? thats easy, the dash isnt even one peice like the 00-05's lol, just pul out the deck and pull out the harness for the chimes. their should be one with like 16-20 wires depending on features, and one with 2-4 i think 2 wires, but the smaller harness with less wires is the chime features. unplug it and that should do it, but im not sure about the last gens i know my 04 can do that, not sure if the 06's are like that. should be. not sure about onstar though, i think if you have it, it MIGHT be in the chime harness.

I removed the stereo, but didnt see any wires that looked out of place. I did see two wires by themselves in a harness, but I think thats power and ground. Otherwise, I had no luck.
