I bought a used D.I.C. and BBE harness from a fellow forum member, and finally got it installed this weekend. I pulled apart the overhead console and did what I think is a pretty good modification of it's internal mounting bracket to accommodate the D.I.C. and still retain the full size console housing (I'll post pics later if requested). My issue/question is that I have to press any of the three Homelink buttons before it will "turn on". When I press one of them, the display lights up like it's doing it's test then it works, but it should come on as soon as I turn the key. It also only works when the car is running, and not with the key just in the run position. Has anyone else run into this? It's not a big deal, it's just not performing like it should.
