Default Cluster gauge lights dont work??

well the problem is that the back lighting to just the gauges dont work so at night I cant see MPH or RPM or gas ext. now the actual warning lights which would light up upon starting the car like check engine or seat belt they still light up fine as should be . Its almost as if the dimmer has been put all the way low . Now as far as the dimmer switch goes it will work as far as pulling it to turn on headlights and so fourth. but when you turn switch it does not bring lights up or down . so I bought a new switch and will be installing today I hope that fixes it but you all know how that goes. So anyone who may have come across this issue before comments would be welcomed. Also to the Depo headlights go in ,the 9006 HID lights will go in as well as the HID 9005 I already have in plus an audio control EQS goes in today I put the IPCW smoked tail lights in and am VERY happy with them pics up very soon tonight also in today the navigation module for pioneer 4400 and a 11" flip down sounstream hidef TV so lots to do ill take pics of all jobs as I do them in the different stages of install thanks guys for help

I'm glad to hear that the new switch worked. I'm in a similar situation now and I was wondering how the install procedure went. Any tips you can give would be greatly appreciated.
