Question Center Console Swap

I was looking into the differences between the center consoles in the early 2000s Grand Prix coupe and the one in my 2002 Monte Carlo SS. I hate that my center console had one usable cup holder and the other is almost unusable because big cups fall over easily in it (the one in front of the shifter). Has anyone else tried to jerry-rig one from the Grand Prix in their car or know if it's even possible?

Definitely don't do the early 00s GP console, those flip out cup holders are terrible for large drinks. First and only time I've ever had a drink tip over was in my 99 GTP. They're ultra shallow and very flimsy (due to the flip out mechanism).

The 04+ GP (newer body style) has much better cup holders.
