cd player help

Default cd player help

i have to take out my factory cd player in my 03 LS it stoped working and i hate listening to the radio. i would like to replace it with a aftermarket unit but not sure how i would do all the reseting that is done with the stock unit.
but right now i cant even get it out of the dash. any help on this would be great thanks.

PS
Be sure to fold a piece of thicker quality scotch tape or masking tape, right over the entire nose any of the metal reusable panel retaining clips before reinserting the panel.
These clips can be notoriously stubborn to come out and our plastic panels are getting older and more fragile.
This will help assure they release easier and so you don’t break any plastic when removing in the future.

If you break any, to repair the backside, use super glue and then sprinkle the repaired wet super glue crack line with baking soda.
