cb radio antenna?
Im installing a CB radio in my car. Its a fairly simple install but the only thing im wondering is where to put the antenna and where to run the antenna wire through to the interior of the car. I dont wanna damage any of the weather stripping by running the cable through the door seal. I was wondering if anyone has used one of those antennas that goes through the windshield wirelessly?

RE: cb radio antenna?
I dont know how bad the skip is with CBs anymore its been 20 years since I was a huge CBer. I would suggest a trunk mount such as a K40 and run the antenna wire the same place as your speaker wires run.

Firestick Has a Little one.. Kinda Cheezy, but not as tacky as a big ole whip..
I had one on my old car.. Doesn't get out as far as a whip, but you can hear all the truckers just fine and talk to many of them..
I like the CB for finding out what's ahead on the interstate...

I just can't find a place inside of my 06 to mount a radio and Ihave already tried one of those psuedo handheld jobbies...
Thanks,
Jeff
