ok i have done alot of looking around at this and the thing i have figured out is that the cap doesnt help the sytem at all it just helps your electrical sytem not draw so much power at once and smooths it out. a battery is going to help the battery life and stabalize the output a little bit better(this is what i decided to do along with regrounding the battery) and and alt is like a fix it will bring your sytem more power but cost a whole lot more

 

instead of gloating, let me be the first to congratulate you on looking into the subject on your own and not simply taking the advice of me or others(even though my advice was right) Aw dammit, I wasn't supposed to gloat[:@]

Haha, but yeah, alt is the way to go. A high output alt will run you about as much as a Yellow top battery, maybe a little bit more, but not much.

haha i was a hard head this summer i will admit it football kicked my butt back into shape though where are you finding an alt that is that cheap???

 

They run around $200, which isn't much more than a Yellow top Optima.
