Default Broken Dash AC vents-which years are interchangeable?

Hi,
I was at the salvage yard today, looking for replacements for my broken dash AC vents, 4 of the boxes, many of the fins are broken.
But no luck....they just didn't sell a lot of 2007 Monte Carlos it seems.

Does anyone know if these exact same size/shape removable vent fin boxes were used in other models, like the Impala?

Thank you

I don't know for certain, so you would have to test and find out, but looking at the 2007 dash and air vents, my gut tells me any 2000-2007 vents are going to be the same. But again, you will need to experiment.

Ok I got all the broken ones replaced.
Yes it seems the older models are the same.

These wings are very fragile, the ends plastic tips which go into the mounting hole.

I found that they can break because the tips can extend too far and catch. A little filling took care of those problem areas.

I cleaned and silicone sprayed the finished products to improve their movements.

I had to use super glue and baking soda sprinkle to fix broken metal clip plastic holders.
I placed a piece of scotch tape over the metal clip noses before inserting into the dash which will allow them to come out easier in the future.
