Has anyone put a Pioneer AVICf-900bt or a AVIC-f90bt in there Monte specifically a 2003 or does anyone even know if it is possible because pioneer, crutchfield, best buy, and other fit guides say no but looking at the dimensions it looks like it will and I know others here have successfully put double dins in. If anyone has put one in can you give me any tips on installation.

yea it fits i got a f700...all u have to do is break the black piece behind the stereo so it can fit properly...

 

I just want to know if your steering wheel controls work with the F900

 

it'll fit, as chevyrider said you will probably have to make some slight adjustments but i have my eye on the same exact one and just need to save up for it.

as for the steering wheel controls, there is an adapter that you will need to make them work. i believe it is pioneer-specific. if you google it you should be able to find it. i have it written down at work, if i have a chance before i fly out to miami tomorrow i'll try to post it for you.

I was wondering if anyone put one of those in a Monte around the same year as mine. Mine is a '85 and I was wondering what I would have to do to make it fit.
