I know three options:
1. - There is a site on the internet (I think it is just called "Replacement Radios") that offer a service adding an aux jack.
2. - If you have XM tap into that. If you don't have XM, use a XM compatible factory radio and add the XM receiver.
3. - Get a device to broadcast on an unused FM radio station.
Option #3 is in use with my 2000 black Monte Carlo (courtesy of the original owner). I did option #2 in my blue 2004 Monte Carlo. I am actually using a MP3 radio from a Cavalier/Venture.

I used a gadget called I-Simple Gateway on the 2006. It was a box that installed between the harness and the stock radio. It gave me an aux and a 30 pin Ipod connector. Pushing the CAT button gained two more choices and the ipod connection worked with the steering wheel controls. Might see if one for that era is still available. I put mine on eBay for an amazing $45 and got no takers. It's in a junkbox here on the ponderosa somewhere. Anyone with a 7th gen can ask for it, might give it up for postage.
