So I've had a few different audio systems in my Montes.



Went from my 5th gen with an el cheap headunit,amp, speakers, and sub












To my 6th gen with a little better Headunit, and speakers, but still the cheap amp and a little bit better sub.





Then I went to an even better sub, head unit, and amp, second battery, but with the same speakers.









And today started the final sound system this Monte will see. Keeping the same head unit, rear speakers, and amp/line driver. But second battery is coming out, new sub and front speakers are going in.

Nice system(s)! I recently removed my subs and amp from my monte. I plan on adding new speakers and a better amp than factory. I'd like to switch to a single sub set up eventually, the dual 12s were too much for me lol.

I like the coverings over the wires! Gives it a clean look, that's one thing I'll do differently next time lol

 

New setup looks nice! I had a pair of Dub edition subs, when i bought a decent amp i made them things SLAM for about 5 minutes before i toasted them

 

looks good. you should carpet the box and the amp boards tho it would really dress it up a lot

 

Nice system! I agree with lougreen03. It really would look nice if you carpet that box.
