thinking of replacing h/u as lights in radio burnt out.. sorry probably know the answer is here but I am using my cell as my pc video card crashed... do I have to get the expensive harness to change to aftermarket? not worried about chimes and such.. just want a night time display back... and do i need to do anything special with the rear amp..

I know will loose sat radio as I have sirius that plugsto factory deck but have an extra add on unit and a pioneer deh p9800t that was in my neon

I just hooked into the old wires. You will have to run an acc. 12v because the stock radio doesn't use one. I just used an acc. wire from the heater controls. You will also loose door chimes.
