Amping Stock Speakers?
#11
The best advice anyone can give you is to go to the store and listen to lots of different speakers. Listen to every freakin set they have on the wall, and with your own kinds of music. It's a good idea to bring your own cd and don't be shy about listening at higher volumes. Try to find audio shops around you instead of just Best Buy and such. Figure out what kind of sound you like and then narrow down your options.
You can still buy online to save money, but go listen in person to as much as you can first.

I just put those same kicker 6x9's in my rear deck. I have an 07 and the were almost the exact dimensions of the stock 6x9's. I want to put the kicker 07DS600's in my doors but crutchfield said the tweeters won't clear. If you get them to fit let me know. I know that sometimes crutchfield is wrong on what the say will and won't fit.

fell back a bit on this one lol sorry guys
i have an aftermarket deck in right now, the kenwood kdc-7009 or something like that i cant remember exactly....i looked into it more today and i wanna find some components now for the front, im not sure about the 6x9's tho
spitdogger, how do you like the rears? crutchfield told me that the stock space for the tweeters is smaller than aftermarket would need to it wouldnt work... has anyone had experience with the kickers?

The tweeters I installed in my doors happened to be bigger than the stock ones. I simply made the holes bigger and in they went. I used a hole saw a bit bigger than the hole already there and, slowly because the heat it can generate can melt the plastic, cut the hole until the tweeters fitted. If you don't want to go 6x9 in the rear, crutchfield sells an adapter so you can install 6.5/tweeter components.

heres my plans as far as install...
im running rcas for the deck back to the amp, and running new wires to all speakers, how hard is it to run speaker wires into the doors?

Rewiring the doors it's very simple, as is laying the RCA wiring to the HU from the amp. You're going to have to remove the rear seat, which is very easy(some have done it without removing it but I removed it and it was a lot easier that way). I got the instructions on how to do it and will be posting them soon.
"whats going to be the difference, besides the size there"
As far as what?
