Default Aftermarket amp

I have a 2000 LS I plan on keeping my factory radio using SNI-35, but my question is can I tie my aftermarket amp remote wire in with my factory amp, if so does anyone know what wire to tie into or have a diagram?

You can always use the AUX fuse as a remote wire.

You're not going to power the stock speakers, right?

I would be very leery of powering any of the stock stuff. They're only little paper woofers and people often have trouble with them blowing off stock power.

You may want to upgrade the speakers also

You could but it's not recommended as the factory wiring was just meant to support the factory components only, added another load to that could cause issues. Best option would be to run your remote lead from your fuse box.

some line-outs have a remote wire on them, so you may want to look into a different one, or else you can run a small power wire back from the AUX fuse which comes on with the car.
