That's where I ran my amp wire as well, although it's not as clean as your install is looking, I still need to cover mine. Wish I could find a nice DD head unit that didn't cost almost as much as college does...

here is a reveiw on it. they are a decent stereo from the folks i have seen with them they are genraly happy.

They are not a high end unit but then again they are not a cheap one either.

Also you can go out to ebay and poke around and see if you can find a on line store that has a gurentee and see if they have some thign that you like .

 

Maybe someday, but for now I'll stick with the stock unit, but I still need to ditch the speakers. I seem to have partially blown out my door speakers.
