Lightbulb 2003 SS Radio Blues

Hello I need help trying to figure out what's wrong with my montes radio. Here's what's wrong with it, it won't fully power on and what I mean by that is that the lights turn on at night but it doesn't power on I can control the radios lights by using the dimmer switch but when I press on it won't power on can anyone please help me. And the same thing happens with the after market radio I had put in the car I won't power on at all either both radios work because I checked to see if it was them that might have stopped working but it wasn't the radios any and all advice would be great thanks.

have you checked your fuses? the light voltage and the power voltage are likley different, so i could see that happening since they probobly didnt fuse the dimming wire.

i'd check all the fuses, all the aux and radio fuses in the fuse panels, you probably have one out. That's where you should start with any electrical issue.

the radio? i honestly can't remember but their labeled friend. their are 2 main boxes that i know of, on your drive side near your sail panel, open the door theirs a panel that pops off. theirs also 2 fuse boxes located inside the hood, very easy to spot. might take a little finagling to pop them off they can be tricky if their older and such. their should be a fuse removal tool inside the box thats inside the car, you can use that for all your fuse removale. their all labeled on the inside of the removable panels.
