Default 2001 amp replace

I'm looking for the wiring diagram for the 24 pin plug going into the factory amp. I plan on using a Metra 70-2002 wiring harness to plug into the factory harness in place of the amp. That Metra harness will then go into a scoshe lineoutput converter, into 2 sony amps then into the Metra harness so I can use the factory speaker wires. Has anybody else ever tried this? Lets hear what you think.

you're better off using the lin output converter directly out of the head unit instead of playing with the harnesses and such at the amp. Also, less wiring factory wiring = greater sound since the RCA's that are output from the line output converter are better for carrying current... Any why the hell would you buy sony amps???

Well, I dont see why It wouldnt work... it'll be poor sq, but it should work. Are the amps going to be for subs, and you're gonna continue using factory speakers?

Infinity 6.5 components in the doors, Polk 6x9's in the rear and 2 punch1 10" subs in a sealed box in the trunk, three amps.
